Child Arrangements

The court expects you to communicate with the other party to agree child arrangements, avoiding the need for court litigation.  If discussion and negotiation fail to produce acceptable child arrangements then we are familiar with the various forms of non-court dispute resolution used in family law, such as, arbitration and mediation, which can be effective, even after the matter has reached the courts, and can be successfully used with a view to save you, the client, time, cost and the unnecessary anxiety.  If child arrangements cannot be agreed then we will represent you in formal court proceedings.

The court should not make an order unless it considers it would be better for the child than making no order.  The court must consider the feelings and wishes of the child, the physical, emotional and educational needs and any likely effect changes in circumstances may have.  As an experienced specialists, we can assist with all aspects of these challenging and complex matters.
